Doctor
Jen Miller , DVM
|
Dr. Miller grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and joined our Woodworth family in 2005. She completed her undergraduate degree at JMU and she graduated Cum Laude in 1996 from Tuskegee Veterinary school. She became Co-Owner of Woodworth Animal Hospital in June 2012 and her special interests here includes Feline, Reproduction, Dentistry, and Ultrasounds.
Dr. Miller currently lives on Critter Haven Farm with her husband, Patrick Kyger and her two sons, Riley, and Wesley. She also shares her home with 4 horses, their lab Obie, their dachshund Brownie, their chickens and their 5 cats: Angel, Sweet Pea, Tango, Tye Dye, and Truffles.
In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys snow skiing, horseback riding, tap dancing, singing, showing her chickens and many other outdoor activities. She is also very proud of her HUGE Star Wars collection. |

Dan Woodworth , DVM

Dr. Dan is a native of Waynesboro, Virginia. His father, Dr. John Woodworth, started Woodworth Animal hospital in 1939. He joined our Woodworth family in 1950 and is a graduate of Waynesboro High School, Davis and Elkins College, and Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1968). His special interests here includes surgery both Orthopedic and soft tissue; and loves the client interaction and services.
He is married to Sue Woodworth and they have 5 children: John, Dr. Kelley, Becky Elkins, Mark, and Tom. Sue and Dr. Dan are grandparents to 18 grandchildren. They also share their home with 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 20 breeding Dorset sheep.
In his spare time, Dr. Dan is active in their church and participates regularly in foreign missions to Guatemala, Baja California, and Mexico. He is also active in the Kiwani's club and has served as president in 1973-1974 as well as 1993-1994. He is a Hixson recipient in Kiwani's and is a member/previous member of the following: BRVMA, VVMA, AAHA, VASAM, and BRCC. Dr. Dan enjoys bicycling, scuba diving, travel and doing handyman projects for and with his family and friends. | |

Kelley Woodworth , DVM

Dr. Kelley was born and raised in Waynesboro and did a lot of her growing up at Woodworth Animal Hospital. She has always been around animals and loved them, but she did not always know that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate degree at Juniata College in Pennsylvania. After college, she joined the Brethren Volunteer Service and spent 2.5 years teaching English in Poland. After her stint in the volunteer service, she was ready to go back to school and ready to return to Veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and came back to Waynesboro to work with her father at Woodworth Animal Hospital.
Dr. Kelley enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and rockclimbing. Her other interests include gardening, exercise, cooking, reading, and being with her family. They are members of the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro and are very active with mission and youth work.
Dr. Kelley's son, Paris James, was born in 2004. He is a super kid and lots of fun. Dr. Kelley's second child, Ezrah Bell, was born Feb 2008. She loves her dog Hank, and her two cats (Lulu and Pumpkin), and chickens. Since James and Ezrah were born, she has been working part-time at the hospital and enjoys both jobs tremendously! |

Leticia M Hansen , DVM

Dr. Hansen grew up in Northern Virginia and joined our Woodworth family in July 2006. She attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and attained a degree in Psychology, she graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary school in May of 2006. Her special interest here includes Internal medicine.
She currently lives in Charlottesville with her husband, a mechanical engineer, of four years, their son Finnegan Javier born Sept 7th 2009, and their four dogs. Yes, four dogs, 3 of which are rescues. Dr. Hansen also has a rotating foster dog at all times. Her interests and hobbies include cycling, hiking with her family, and gardening. |

Lynda Duckett , DVM

Amy McDonald Amy is a native of Waynesboro, VA. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, and attended Blue Ridge Community College. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1986, as an animal care attendant/veterinary assistant. She enjoys working with small animals, is an avid Miami Dolphins fan, and collects teddy bears. She has a Golden Retriever named "Toby".

Rose Parler Rose is a certified veterinary assistant. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at the Blue Ridge Community College in 2001. She has been working with animals since 1993. She has been employed at WAH since August 2005. She also works at the Augusta SPCA. She currently lives in Fisherville with her pets, which include two chihuahuas, Rilee and Rascal, two Min Pins BlackJack, and Destiny, and her cat. Her hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, and reading. |  View |
